Homeostasis and excretion
Homeostasis means the maintenance of a steady state within an organism. This is essential so that organisms can carry out all the delicate living processes which keep them alive. In order to ensure that the internal state of an organism is not damaged, it is necessary to remove waste products, and this process is called excretion. This section offers a range of activities which will allow students to investigate the maintenance of the internal environment and excretion. This part of Macmillan Science Teacher has no content yet.
